NEW YORK, March 2 (Reuters) - U.S. stocks fell further on Friday, putting Wall Street on course for its worst week in more than four years, as investors worried that a diminishing appetite for riskier assets after this week's market rout will drive stocks down even more.
The Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> was down 109.27 points, or 0.89 percent, at 12,125.07. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index <.SPX> was down 14.35 points, or 1.02 percent, at 1,388.82. The Nasdaq Composite Index <.IXIC> was down 31.84 points, or 1.32 percent, at 2,372.37
